Where shall I start…. Lauren & Jim are close friends of ours and it was such an honor to be able to help them with the flowers and decor for their wedding day.. They are an amazing couple. So fun, loving and special in every way…
Lauren has a unique style about her… I like to think of it as Anthropologie meets traditional Mexico… The Mexican folklore theme was carried throughtout the wedding.. The save the date announcements, invitations, papeles picados and day of the dead figurines that adorned the top of the cake were all inspired by Lauren and Jim’s love for Mexico and its traditions…
The florals were soft and flowing and all wrapped up in tea stained lace.. garden roses, ranunculas, scented geranium, gardenias… and more… The combination of scents was perfect… Herb bundles adorned each flat folded napkin.. Adding to the yumminess…
The biggest bonus! I got to work with my good floral buddy Adrianne Smith Floral Design! We had a blast! I will never look at china mums the same way again…
